Where we're going

As I take one last look at the travel plans and itinerary before tucking in for the night, here's a quick overview of where we're headed for the week:

This year we're volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of the Mississippi Gulf Coast and staying in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Our work sites have yet to be determined, but could include projects throughout Ocean Springs, Biloxi, and Gulfport:

Our accommodations will be at Camp Victor in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. It is an independent volunteer camp that also houses HFH volunteers for a week. We're interested to meet some of the others who will be there for the week - we've heard that groups from the University of Akron, Ohio State University, and Western Kentucky University will all be there. Two packs of Dutch Blitz cards are in our packing list.

We meet at the Marbeck Center parking lot between 3:10 and 3:20 a.m. on Sunday morning - with an anticipated arrival at Camp Victor around 6 p.m. local time (7:00 eastern). Wish us luck...if we run into some wi-fi on the way down there maybe we'll fire off a quick update. Otherwise, next post is from Mississippi!
